About
Hello, I'm Natalia
Born in England and trained at Central Saint Martins in London, I've lived in France for over 15 years, here in Les Landes. I love bold colour, natural light, and homes that tell the story of the people who live in them.
I create colourful, elegant interiors that feel personal to you and completely at home in their surroundings. I work with the character of the house, the natural light and the way you really live, bringing in thoughtful details that reflect your personality. With a practical eye for solving awkward spaces, storage and layout, I turn every room into somewhere that feels beautiful, effortless and wonderful to live in.
- Self-employed interior designer since 2014: L'anglaise Conseil Créatif, for homes and businesses
- Before that, in London: interior styling with MILC, then styling and visual merchandising for Topshop, French Connection and Marks & Spencer
- Creative marketing in the surf industry
- Best of Houzz 2018 (photo) and 2022 (service)
How I work
Materials, colours, sketches
Every project starts on my table: samples, a colour palette, plans and sketches. A board you can touch before you live with it.
On site, my role is decoration follow-up: colours, materials, finishes, furniture and styling, right down to the last detail. For planning permission and official drawings, I work with partner architects.
Teaching
I taught spatial design, in English, at ESDL in Mont-de-Marsan. I loved working with students who saw the world so differently. Teaching has become a regular part of my work, and the Creative English Studio is coming soon.

At home
Our 1970s house, reinvented
Three months of major works, a budget we stuck to without borrowing a penny, and a family that moved out while the builders moved in. A deadline and a budget set from day one aren't limits. They're the best guides a project can have.
